About me

I am a co-founder of Simples Consultoria and Pendect GmbH, a co-maintainer of Cookiecutter, a Python Sofware Foundation Fellow, and former president of the Plone Foundation.

With over 25 years of experience in IT projects and communities, I'm a challenge-driven professional that make things happen.

In the past, acting as CTO, I oversaw three new ventures for Rocket Internet: Vaniday, Lendico Brasil and RideLink.

Worked with Plone CMS for over 20 years. During this time, I became a core developer, and was the maintainer of the OSX installer for 2 years. I am also a member of the Plone Foundation and served as a board member for seven terms.

Well known as a community leader -- in special the Python and Plone communities -- I've been one of the persons behind the creation of Associação Python Brasil, led its marketing initiatives and helped establish the PythonBrasil conference as an annual event for our local community.

Also, I was very active on the PloneGov-BR community, bringing the Plone Conference to South America for the first time and leading the Portal Padrão initiative.
